About UsSince 1986, A New Hope Center has offered comprehensive services to all crime victims, including:
We primarily serve residents of Tioga County, but not restrictive to borders. All services to survivors are free and confidential. We have provided services to over 10,000 families in our almost 20 year history. Our residential program, which is a New York State licensed domestic violence safe dwelling, began in 1992. By the end of 2004, A New Hope House had provided a safe haven for 386 battered women and 397 of their children with a total of 9,764 bednights. Beyond that, we have a safe home network that provides a short term back up for when A New Hope House is full or when a safe place is needed for male victims (A New Hope Center has the distinction of being the only Domestic Violence program in the region to shelter adult males). |
